I had to create this site because the last one I made at Geo$hit!es.com decided to stop sharing the resources outside of their domain. Which means I could not post any pics from my site on forums or anywhere outside of Geo$hit!es.com. And now I have to shrink this one to less than 3 pages because I don't want to have to pay for it. :-(
Anyway, My name is Chris James and this is one of my homepages. I'm still practicing and (hopefully) getting better. The major topic here is Autocrossing and Cars.
A little about me, I am 35, Married and have 2 children (6 and 8), currently working
in the desktop PC support field and just got my NET+ certification, recently
moved from Detroit to Phoenix and this page is about my 2 favorite subjects/hobbies.

I love autocrossing, it's a blast and it's affordable. I have been doing it since 1997 and I still get the jitters when I line up for a run.

If you're not sure what it is, it's also known as Gymkhana or parking lot racing. Basically we take an open parking lot, setup a course with pylons and compete for times - 1 car at a time. The course is designed not to exceed highway speeds but is an excercise in automotive handling. We do have safety people and rules and we do wear helmets. I put some links below to a couple other sites for more info and scheduling.

I am running a 1990 Geo Storm GSi nearly stock. I've added a APC Intake, Yokohama AVS intermediate tires (205/60/14) , a lap belt, KYB GR2 struts with Suspension Techniques springs and an additional rear sway bar which takes me out of stock class. There is not much in the way of other components for this car so I am trying to make due with what I can find.
